An independent, evidence-based system for tracking the technological trajectory toward artificial superintelligence and the constraints that may accelerate or delay it.
Separates signal from score
A new event can be worth recording without moving readiness or forecast values. Evidence quality, technology maturity, actor priority, bottlenecks and probability forecasts are deliberately kept as separate concepts.
Not a countdown clock
The observatory does not claim that ASI will arrive on a fixed date. Forecasts are rolling analytical estimates that should change only when the underlying evidence changes.
EDITORIAL PRINCIPLE
Evidence before narrative
Primary papers, repositories, official technical material, clinical registries and independent confirmation are preferred over commentary. Social posts and press coverage can act as early-warning sensors, but important claims are graded by evidence status and are not treated as established simply because they are widely repeated.
